This site collects
nothing

Not a shortened way of saying we collect a little. There is no analytics script, no cookie, no account, no backend, and nothing stored in your browser. Everything below can be checked by reading the source or opening your network tab.

What this site collects

Nothing. Specifically, and each of these is verifiable in the published source:

  • No cookies. The site never writes one, so there is no banner to dismiss.
  • No analytics or tracking. No Google Analytics, no tag manager, no Plausible, PostHog, Segment, Mixpanel, or pixel of any kind.
  • Nothing in browser storage. No localStorage, no sessionStorage.
  • No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for, so there is no profile to hold.
  • No backend. The site is static files. We operate no server that receives your activity.
  • No third-party fonts or CDNs. Typefaces are served from this domain, so no font host learns you visited.

The one request it makes

Pages showing live chain data ask mainnet-node.decentralchain.io for the current block. Your browser makes that request directly — there is no proxy of ours in the middle, which is the same property that lets any script read the chain without a key.

That request carries what every HTTP request carries: your IP address and user agent. The node needs no account and issues no identifier, so nothing links one request to another beyond what any web server sees. If you would rather it did not happen, the pages still render without it and say the node was unreachable.

Where links take you

Links point to GitHub, npm, the ecosystem applications, and community platforms. Once you follow one you are on someone else's site under their policy, not this one. We receive nothing back from those visits.

The chain is not private

Worth saying plainly, because it is the more consequential fact. DecentralChain is a public ledger. Every transaction, balance, address and lease is readable by anyone forever, by design — that is the point of the thing. This page describes the website; it does not and cannot make on-chain activity private.

Careful
An address is pseudonymous, not anonymous. Anything that links an address to you — an exchange withdrawal, a public post, a bridge transaction — links it permanently, and no later action removes that history.

Contact

This site is operated by DecentralExchange, Cédula Jurídica 3-102-956858, of Jacó, Garabito, Costa Rica, which is the controller for anything described here. Questions go to info@decentralchain.io.

Because the site holds no personal data, there is no record for us to export, correct, or delete on request — the honest answer to such a request is that nothing exists to act on.
